| Biography | Every once in a while, a band comes along with a totally unique style, and Divine Intervention just happens to be, one of those very bands. They encompass a mixture of styles from jazz and blues, to funk and rock, which reflects their individual personal tastes, fused into an eclectic new mixture, then combined with thought-provoking lyrics. They are very much a live band, where they really come into their own - they absolutely need to be seen, to be heard, to feel the full excitement of their performance... The band formed in London, initially in March 2005 when Justin, the singer-songwriter/guitar player, met Rado, a multi-talented musician, who plays so many instruments it would be easier to mention the ones he doesn’t play. After working on demos together they recruited Lacho to play Bass, and now Les on drums. True to the cosmopolitan nature of London, each of the members are from different parts of the world; England, Poland, Bulgaria and Wales. Right now they are working on new material for an album and a music video for one of their songs. 2006 saw live performances from them at The Dublin Castle, The Hope and Anchor and The Miller, to mention but a few on the London scene. 2007 has been busy with them recording more, and they\'ve also been collaborating with Alexis, a Cuban percussionist on some of the recordings. Their gig at The Spice of Life, in March this year, featured Jane on saxaphone and BVs, as well as Alexis on percussion, as guest performances.
