Mailing List For Bands
Add a free mailing list to your website.
As a free service we provide a fully configurable mailing list to optionally add to artist profiles. We understand that a mailing list is usually essential for bands and artists to promote themselves. This is why we allow you to collect e-mails from any of your visitors, not just from the ones already on the Musivine network.
This is particularly of use when the profile is exported onto a remote website. These websites will have their own visitors as well as traffic from Musivine, so it would be wasting an opportunity not to collect
How do I add the mailing list?
If you have your own band/artist website but need a mailing list, you can add one from Musivine. To do that you'll just need to set up a free profile on Musivine, then export it onto one of the pages of your website. Then just activate the mailing list in MyAccount and you're done.
For an example, see this profile: Sheema
What does the mailing list do?
It gives your visitors a chance to subscribe to your mailing list by submitting their e-mail address, plus optionally (you decide the format), their name and/or location. A captcha is also available as an extra option to prevent abuse.
You can view your mailing list whenever you please by logging into your account. Just copy and paste the e-mails or download them as a spreadsheet. N.B. We only provide a service for collecting the mailing list data. We do NOT provide bulk mailing services or mailing functionality of any kind, nor will we use this data for ourselves. These lists are only for your purposes, to use at your own discretion, for which we are not liable. However, because these lists are strictly opt-in lists, they break no bulk mailing rules, if used correctly.
What do you mean by 'export your profile'?
You may wonder, especially as this is a brand new concept. Musivine is a unique social network designed for Bands/Musicians/Artists to interact with their fans, but what makes it completely different is the fact that you can export your profile onto your own website.
Once you do this, you turn your own band website into a social, functional, interconnected part of the Musivine network, yet at the same time it is still your own autonomous site over which you have full control.
So what can this do for my website?
